Timurid Museum
The Uzbek State Museum of the History of the Timurids (or, as it is popularly called, the Amir Temur Museum) is located in the capital of Uzbekistan - the very heart of Tashkent. It began operating in 1996 and is dedicated to the Mongolian commander Amir Temur (or Tamerlane) and the history of the development of the entire Central Asian territory during his reign, as well as his entire dynasty.
